Criminal Justice Reform Conversations

Join the SMU Law Review and the Deason Criminal Justice Reform Center for the SMU Law Review’s 2021 virtual series, Criminal Justice Reform Conversations. Facilitated by Professor Pamela Metzger, Director of the Deason Center, the symposium series features professors and practitioners in conversations about criminal legal reform. In lieu of the traditional symposium format, the authors will participate in facilitated conversations about five critical reform topics: Police Accountability, Racial Injustices, Bail Reform, Prosecution Reform, and Indigent Defense. The speakers will also preview their corresponding essays, which will be published in Summer 2021 in Issue 74.3 of the SMU Law Review.
